1.

Jauchzet dem Herren, alle Welt!				(Psalm 100)
	O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands!

Dienet dem Herren mit Freuden, 
	Serve the Lord with gladness, 

kommt vor sein Angesicht mit Frolocken.
	and come before His presence with exaltation.
	
Erkennet das der Herre Gott ist
	Be ye sure that the Lord is God

Er hat uns gemacht, und nicht wir selbst,
	for He has made us, and not we ourselves,

zu seinem Volk, und zu Schafen seiner Weide.
	to be his people, and as the sheep of his pasture.

Gehet zu seinem Toren ein mit Danken,
	Enter His gates with thanksgiving

und zu seinen Vorhofen mit Loben.
	and His courts with praise.

Danket him!  Lobet seinen Namen!
	Thank him!  Praise his name!

Denn der Herr ist Freundlich, und seine Gnade wahret ewig.
	For the Lord is gracious, and his mercy is everlasting.

Und seine Wahrheit fur und fur.
	And his truth endures forever.

Ehre sei dem Vater, und dem Sohn, und auch dem heiligen Geiste.
	Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.

Wie es war im Anfang, jetzt und immerdar, 
	As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,

Und von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit, Amen.
	World without end, Amen.

Die mit Tranen saen, werden mit Freuden ernten
	They who sow with tears shall reap with joy.

Sie gehen hin und weinen und tragen edlen Samen,
	They go forth and weep and bear noble seed,

Und kommen mit Freuden und bringen ihre Garben.
	And return with joy, and bring their sheaves.

Ich bin ein rechter Weinstock, mein Vater ein Weingartner.
	I am a proper vine-stalk, my Father, a vine-dresser.

Einen jeglichen Reben an mir, der nicht Frucht bringet,
	Each branch of mine that bears no fruit

wird er wegnehmen, und einen jeglichen, der da Frucht bringet,
	He shall take away, and each branch that does bear fruit,

wird er reinigen, dass er mehr Frucht bringet.
	He shall prune, so that it brings forth more fruit.

*Ich bin der Weinstock, ihr seid die Reben;
	*I am the vine-stalk, thou art the branches;

bleibet in mir und ich in euch.
	abide in me and I in thee.

Gleich wie der Reben kann keine Frucht bringen sich selber,
	Just as the branch can bring forth no fruit of itself,

er bleibe denn am Weinstock, also auch ihr nicht,
	save that it remain attached to the vinestalk, neither canst thou

ihr bleibet denn an mir.
	but that thou abidest with me.

Verleih uns Frieden gnadiglich, Herr Gott zu unsern Zeiten,
	Graciously grant us peace, Lord God, in our time.

es ist doch ja kein ander nicht
	There is indeed no other

der fur uns konnte streiten, denn du, unser Gott, alleine.
	who could do battle for us, than Thou alone, our God.

Gib unsern Fursten und aller Obrigkeit Fried und gute Regiment,
	Grant our princes and all authorities peace and good governance,

dass wir unter ihnen ein geruhig und stilles Leben fuhren mogen
	so that under them we may lead a calm and peaceable life

in aller Gottseligkeit und Ehrbarkeit.  Amen.
	in full godliness and propriety.  Amen.



5.

Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied denn er tut Wunder.
	Sing unto the Lord a new song, for He makes miracles.

Er sieget mit seiner Rechten und mit seinem heilgen Arm.
	He is victorious through His justness and the might of His holy arm.

Der Herr lasst sein Heil verkundigen;
	The Lord bids His gift of redemption be proclaimed:

vor den Volken lasst er seine Gerechtigkeit offenbaren.
	before the peoples He reveals His righteousness.

Er gedenket an seine Gnade und Wahrheit dem Hause Israel.
	He gives token of His mercy and truth to the house of Israel.

Aller Welt Enden sehen das Heil unsers Gottes.
	All the ends of the earth witness the healing power of God.

Jauchzet dem Herren, alle Welt; singet, ruhmet, und lobet!
	Rejoice in the Lord, all the world; sing, glorify, and praise!

Lobet den Herren mit Harfen und Psalmen!
	Praise the Lord with harps and psalms!

Mit Drommeten und Posaunen jauchzet vor dem Herrn, dem Konige!
	With trumpets and trombones rejoice before the Lord, the King!

Das Meer brause, und was drinnen ist,
	The sea roars, and that which resides therein,

der Erdboden und die drauf wohnen.
	The land and those that dwell thereupon.

Die Wasserstrome frohlocken, und alle Berge sind frohlich vor dem Herrn.
	The torrents of water shout for joy, and all the mountains are joyous
							 before the Lord.

denn er kommt, dass Erdreich zu richten.
	because He comes to judge the kingdom of the world.

Er wird den Erdboden richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Volker mit Recht.
	He shall rule the world with righteousness and the people with justice.
